Two Five Three

When I first looked at 253, I was completely and utterly confused. But as I read the description of the book on Amazon, it started to make much more sense. The use of multimedia in this book online is quite phenomenal. The way that you can use the links to see the way the passengers are related is interesting and can lead you to the end of the book and to passenger 253 without reading the book in its entirety and learning about every passenger. If you were reading the paper book, you would never be able to link these passengers the way it is done online. You would have to keep flipping back and forth once you read about something that sounds familiar. You could reach the end by cheating and skipping to it, but you would miss the connections of the passengers that is found by using the links online. This is an interesting way to tell a story and one that I particularly enjoy, even though it was confusing at first.

Wikipedia

Wikipedia is a resource that I once paid a lot more attention to. Due to the library lectures about why Wikipedia is the absolute number one thing I shouldn't use, I have looked for more reliable resources when searching for information. I don't use Wikipedia so much now because of the chance that the information I am getting from the site isn't the reliable research I am expecting.
My professors in the past have told me not to use Wikipedia if I am doing a research project for their class. Though I do sometimes click on it for a quick definition or reference to something if I type a topic into Google.
I think that some write for Wikipedia to correct the information that is on there, but I feel like that can't really be verified because anyone can go in at any time and change what is written. Because of this, you can never really be sure about the correctness of the information given on the site.
